@khupido1n2 The sheet is vibrating, creating sound. Due to the vibration being caused by a motor pushing on the center of the sheet, there are waves moving outward in the sheet itself, these waves reflect backwards and create what is called a standing wave pattern. The same thing can be seen in 1 dimension with a vibrating string with fixed ends. In the standing wave pattern there are regions which are not moving (nodes). This is where the sand collects. |
